Standards
Standards provide clear guidance on how to design, implement, maintain, monitor and remove specific mitigation measures that are part of your project.
Final standards
Interim standards
- Fish capture and relocation
- Planning for land-based erosion and sediment control
- Water intake end-of-pipe fish screens
Interim standards are used to gather feedback from Indigenous peoples and other interested parties before publishing final versions. When we publish final versions, notification appears in the Canada Gazette, Part I, as required by the Fisheries Act.
