To help identify a species, consult the table below. Learn more about an aquatic invasive species, the habitat it can be found in, and its status in Canada. The “Status in Canada” column has 3 different entries:
- Invasive to Canada describes species that are invasive wherever they are found in Canada
- Invasive to parts of Canada describes species that are native to some regions of Canada and are invasive in other regions
- Watchlist species are invasive elsewhere, but have not been observed in Canada
