This is a one-year management decision for 2026.

Season Dates

Season dates for 2026 will be determined in consultation with fishing industry representatives and communicated via Notices to Fish Harvesters.

Management Measures

Current management measures will continue for the 2026 fishing season including: voluntary v-notching program, mandatory use of Electronic Logbooks (ELOGs), closed areas for conservation, no changes to established trap limits and maximum number of fishing days, and minimum size retention limit of 82.5 mm in all Lobster Fishing Areas. All current closures in place for commercial Scallop dragging will remain in effect.
