Climate change makes the ocean warmer, more acidic, less oxygenated.
Human activities are adding stress to marine life.
Food webs are altered
Some species are negatively affected, while others show signs of recovery.
Changes to species will affect the ecosystems they inhabit.
Science is helping us to better understand and protect Canada’s oceans and their webs of life.
