Completed projects

The following projects have been completed under the DFO Small Craft Harbours Abandoned and Wrecked Vessel Removal Program, which is part of the broader federal government’s Oceans Protection Plan and a key component of the National Strategy to Address Canada’s Wrecked and Abandoned Vessels.

As per the program’s terms and conditions, recipients received funding of up to five thousand dollars for activities related to obtaining legal possession and assessment of the vessel, and up to fifty thousand dollars for the removal and disposal of a vessel.

2023 to 2024
