Total Allowable Catch

A commercial fishery for Northern cod is established for the 2026-27 season, with a Total Allowable Catch (TAC) of 59,000 tonnes (t).

This TAC is distributed in accordance with the percentage shares in the table below, and allocations in the table include Northern cod caught from the directed fishery and/or bycatch. The table contains three columns. The first column lists the fleet or group. The second column lists the percentage share for each fleet or group from the TAC. The last column specifies the associated allocation for each fleet or group. The last row identifies the TAC.
