2025 Southwest New Brunswick Sea Cucumber
The Sea Cucumber fishery in Southwest New Brunswick occurs in two separate fishing zones:
- Zone 1 (“The Passages”): A small, rectangular area at the mouth of Passamaquoddy Bay.
- Zone 2 (“Outside Passages”): An area along the coast, outside of the bay and around Campobello Island.
Dates of season (subject to change)
The 2025 Sea Cucumber fishery in Southwest New Brunswick operates from January 9th - March 31st.
Total allowable catches
- Zone 1: 400 tonnes (t)
- Zone 2: 180 t
