Gulf Region Electronic Logbook (ELOG) – Progressive implementation (2021 and 2022) for the Snow Crab, Shrimp and Lobster Fisheries

Moncton, NB – November 29, 2019 – Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) is following up on the announcement made on April 10, 2019, on the progressive implementation of the electronic logbook (ELOG) for the snow crab, shrimp and lobster fisheries in the Gulf Region.

The implementation of the ELOG in the Gulf Region will remain on a voluntary basis again in 2020 and will become mandatory in the following fisheries as of 2021 and in 2022:
