Summary
This document contains the proceeding from the meeting held within the regional assessment process on Atlantic surf clam from Magdalen Islands. This review process was held on January 27, 2010 at the Maurice Lamontagne Institute in Mont-Joli. This meeting gathered about twenty participants from sciences to management to industry. During this meeting, the assembly reviewed the status of the Atlantic surf clam stocks commercially exploited from Magdalen Islands. Therefore, this proceeding contains the essential parts of the presentations and discussions held and relate the main recommendations and conclusions that were presented during the review.
