Summary

This document contains the proceeding of the regional peer review meeting on the assessment of habitat required for the survival and recovery of the St. Lawrence River striped bass population. This review process was held on March 15, 2015 in Quebec City and gathered thirteen participants from the Ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs du Québec (MFFP), the université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), and Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO). The objective of this meeting was to review and update the information available on habitat used and frequented by the St. Lawrence River striped bass population since the last assessment. These proceedings summarize the major points of the presentation and discussion from the meeting and outline the main recommendations and conclusions.
