2008 ROPOS Expedition
Ocean Floor visuals of glass sponges, corals and associated animals from the ROPOS 2008 expedition conducted in Dixon Entrance in northern BC and near the B.C. and Washington State border. Footage taken by ROPOS or Remotely Operated Platform for Ocean Science, a robot which can dive to 5,000 metres to capture images and samples from the ocean bed.
