Regional Director General Serge Doucet

Regional Director General, Gulf Region

Mr. Serge Doucet is the Regional Director General of the Gulf Region. His appointment began on April 24, 2017.

His career within New Brunswick’s public service spans 20 years. Within that time, he held several senior management positions namely at the Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries. Mr. Doucet was also Assistant Deputy Minister of the Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries as well as for the Department of Economic Development.

Up until recently, he held the position of Vice-President, Business Growth with Opportunities NB, the province’s lead business development organization. In his role, he contributed to the implementation and growth of this organization while conducting several economic missions internationally.
