Status: Reporting Phase. The evaluation was led by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) and included eight other federal partners. Consultations on the draft evaluation report resulted in re-scheduling the completion of this horizontal evaluation to fiscal year 2017-18. The new Planned Deputy Head approval date is not yet confirmed. The ECCC Deputy Head is responsible for approving the evaluation report whereas each federal department is responsible for approving their respective management responses and ensuring the actions developed in response to the recommendations are completed. The DFO management action plan was approved by the DFO Deputy Head on December 2, 2016.

The Deputy Head for NRC is responsible for approving the evaluation report and management response whereas each federal department is responsible for ensuring the actions developed in response to the recommendations are completed. Consultations with federal partners on the draft report resulted in NRC re-scheduling the completion of this horizontal evaluation to fiscal year 2017-18. The new Planned Deputy Head approval date is not yet confirmed.
