Call for proposals 2023-2024
The Aquaculture Collaborative Research and Development Program (ACRDP) is issuing the Call for Proposals for research project funding for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
The deadline for submissions of proposals is closed.
Note: Applications must be approved by the DFO Regional Director of Science before being submitted nationally for consideration.
Proposals for single- or multi-year, DFO-industry collaborative, research projects must clearly fit within the 2023-2024 National Research Priorities established for the ACRDP. The general priorities are:
- pest and pathogen management for cultured stocks
- ecosystem interactions
- environmental sustainability

How to apply
Step 1 – Consult with a DFO researcher on project design.
Step 2 – Request a copy of the Project Application Form and the Budget Form:
Step 3 – Complete the Project Application and the Budget Forms.
* Please remember to include C.V.’s for research leads and team members
* Please follow all instructions provided on page 1 of the Budget spreadsheet workbook
Step 4 – Ensure all required signatures are obtained.
* DFO Regional Director of Science signature must be obtained prior to application submission.
