Privacy Notice – SARA Permit Application Form

Personal information is collected under the authority of the Species at Risk Act (SARA) for the purpose of processing applications for permits and agreements that may impact an identified species at risk.

The information you provide may also be used for enforcement purposes, evaluation purposes and to report to senior management.

In some cases, information may be disclosed without consent for purposes authorized under subsection 8(2) of the Privacy Act.

Failure to complete this form in full may preclude the processing of your SARA permit application.

Personal information is protected in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Act. The Act also gives individuals the right of access to and correction of their personal information. Details on these matters are outlined in the foreword section of Info Source, available online at http://www.infosource.gc.ca.
