Scientific Data and Products

ISDM's mandate is to manage and archive ocean data collected by DFO, or acquired through national and international programmes conducted in ocean areas adjacent to Canada, and to disseminate data, data products, and services to the marine community in accordance with the policies of the Department.

Displays Tide and Water Level stations in Canada. Features links to predictions, observed real-time data, observed archived data, and benchmark information.

Fisheries and Oceans interactive maps and services are produced from DFO data and combined with data from other government departments and private organizations.

Since its establishment in Copenhagen in 1902, ICES has been a leading scientific forum for the exchange of information and ideas on the sea and its living resources, and for the promotion and coordination of marine research by scientists within its 19 member countries from both sides of the Atlantic including all European Coastal states.
