Integrated Science Data Management (ISDM)
As Canada's national data center, the historical tide and water level data archive presently holds over 500 million records with the earliest dating back before the turn of the century. Over 2 million new observations, reported from the CHS permanent gauging network, are added on a daily and monthly basis. Data are also exchanged annually with Environment Canada.
Canadian Hydrographic Service
Displays Tide and Water Level stations in Canada. Features links to predictions, observed real-time data, observed archived data, and benchmark information.
Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS)
The Tides, Currents, and Water Levels Web Site provides predicted times and heights of high and low waters, and the hourly water levels for over seven hundred stations in Canada.
Integrated Science Data Management (ISDM)
Biological, chemical and physical information on the northwestern Atlantic Ocean gathered through the Atlantic Zone Monitoring Program. AZMP provides an ever-expanding perspective on seasonal, annual and longer-term changes in ocean conditions including sea levels, climate and weather
Pacific Region
Search the Institute of Ocean Sciences / Ocean Sciences Data Inventory for data from moored instrumentation. This application will return inventory information about the data records that meet the search criteria but will not return the actual data.
Integrated Science Data Management (ISDM)
Reports including physical oceanographic inventories of profiles, drifting buoys, waves, tides and water levels collected in the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization (NAFO) area annually. Link to official NAFO site.
Maritimes Oceans and Ecosystem Science (OES)
- Coastal Time Series (CTS),
- Hydrographic (Climate),
- Ocean Colour Database (OCDB),
- Ocean Data Inventory (ODI),
- Sea-surface Temperature (SST)
Access to a number of databases maintained by Ocean Sciences at the Bedford Institute. The databases include temperature-salinity profiles for the North West Atlantic, sea-surface temperature from satellite, monthly statistics of ocean currents and other moored instruments, and daily temperature observations from coastal thermographs.
Maritimes Oceans and Ecosystem Science (OES)
A graphical user interface to a tidal prediction program for the Maritimes region of Canada.
