Closed Area for Shellfish Harvesting North Shore

QUEBEC CITY- Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, wants to inform the North Shore population that the harvesting of shellfish is now forbidden due to salubrity, in accordance with the prohibition order mentioned below, and pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Management of Contaminated Fisheries Regulations, in the following shellfish area:

N-05.1.3.1 – Réserve Pessamit South (Bersimis)

From the Fisheries and Oceans marker located east of Pointe de Pessamit northward to the Fisheries and Oceans marker. The foreshore and waters bounded by the shore and a line drawn.
