We have a spectacular view of glaciers as we fly by Twin Otter over Ellesmere Island to the ice camp.

As you fly into our camp, you see the airstrip on the ice and the tent encampment beside it. The tiny dots near the bottom of the airstrip are the barrels of fuel, and the aircraft taxi over to this spot to fuel up and unload. We are also very close to the old encampment on the land at Ward Hunt Island.
