Convictions under the Fisheries Act, Magdalen Islands

QUÉBEC - Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, has released a list of fishers from the Magdalen Islands fined in March 2012 for various offences under the Fisheries Act.

The fines imposed on the offenders total $1,250. The offenders are:

Martin Arseneau Possession of lobsters under the minimum size. $750
Gérard Aucoin Exceeding the daily recreational quota for groundfish and possession of an Atlantic halibut. $500
