Convictions Under the Fisheries Act, Magdalen Islands
QUÉBEC – Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, has released a list of Magdalen Islands fishers fined in December 2011 for violations of the Fisheries Act.
The fines imposed on the offenders total $7,300. The offenders are:

| Daniel Chevrier | Non-compliance with sealing licence conditions. | $500 |
| Luc Eloquin | Possession of lobsters under the minimum size and being in possession of a female lobster with eggs attached. | $2,250 |
