Salmonid Enhancement Program facilities includeKitimat, Rosewall, Pinkut / Fulton, Tenderfoot, Chilliwack, Spius, Robertson Creek, Conuma, Nitinat, Big and Little Qualicum, Chehalis, Hartley Bay, Weaver Creek, Pitt Sockeye, Puntledge, Snootli / Atnarko, Capilano, Cowichan and Nanaimo.
The Salmonid Enhancement Program (SEP) supports the Fisheries Renewal and International Governance priorities of Fisheries and Oceans Canada.It contributes 10-20% of the total First Nations, recreational and commercial harvest of salmon in the Pacific Region.As well, SEP applies annual coded-wire tags in Pacific region which, in addition to stock assessment, provide information on Canadian salmon production for Canada-U.S. Pacific Salmon Treaty negotiations. In addition, SEP facilities are used to assist in strategic enhancement of wild stocks that are at critically low levels of abundance, thereby contributing to conservation.

Project description
This project is to refurbish the water supply and delivery systems in use at 19 Salmonid Enhancement Program facilities. The project objectives are to ensure the water supplies and delivery systems continue to be reliable, to maximize the operating efficiency of the systems, and to extend the operational life expectancies of the water supply infrastructure to ensure they continue to meet current and future program requirements.
