National Recreational Fisheries Awards- Award and Awards Ceremony

Each Award recipient will receive:
  • A pewter medallion with the National Recreational Fisheries Award logo, minted by the Royal Canadian Mint. The individual or organization's name will be engraved on the back of each medallion.
  • A pewter lapel pin bearing the National Recreational Fisheries Award logo.
  • A framed certificate signed by the Governor General of Canada or the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans.
Ceremony and luncheon are normally held in May or June of each year.

The awards are presented at Rideau Hall by the Governor General of Canada. Alternatively, the ceremony may be held on Parliament Hill in the Centre Block where the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans will present the Award to each recipient.
