In an effort to manage the Fisheries Certificate System efficiently, the Operations Centre is suggesting that all FCS users take some time to organize and remove the interim applications that are no longer required. As FCS continues to develop and evolve, your contribution of cleaning up unwanted files will optimize the system, and make it easier for you to navigate and manage documents.
Please follow these easy steps to cancel applications that will not be used:
Once an application has been cancelled you will no longer have access to it, it will not longer be available for editing. Carefully review your interim applications before removing them. If you do cancel an application in error, you still have the privilege of copying it.
Following advice received from the department's legal services, we have made changes to the Delegation of Authority and the Terms and Conditions of use for the Fisheries Certificate System. As of April 13, 2012, the Fisheries Certificate System Delegation of Authority and Terms and Conditions documents have been updated and are now merged into one single document. All clients registered in the Fisheries Certificate System (FCS) are required to sign the new Delegation of Authority / Terms and Conditions document and send it to the Catch Certification Program: Operations Centre. The deadline to sign and return the new document is May 21, 2012. If you have not submitted the document by the aforementioned date, your FCS account will be locked until it has been received. If you have yet to receive the document, please contact the Operations Centre.
