2019 Scallop Fishing Area 29 West

The Scallop Fishing Area 29 West (SFA 29 West) fishery occurs off the southwest coast of Nova Scotia from 65° 30' west to 43° 40' north.

Dates of season (subject to change)

The 2019 SFA 29 West fishery operates from June 24 to August 31, 2019.

Total allowable catch

The total allowable catch is 150 tonnes for the 2019 fishery with the following quotas for subareas A to E:

  • A: 10 tonnes
  • B: 35 tonnes
  • C: 15 tonnes
  • D: 75 tonnes
  • E: 15 tonnes

Management measures
