Update (September 2005) of the Atlantic mackerel (Scomber scombrus L.) landings in NAFO Subareas 3 and 4 in 2004

Abstract
The analysis and presentation of the commercial fishery data for mackerel (Scomber scombrus L.) in 2004 were realized without the landings from Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. As the mackerel catches in these provinces have always been important, it was decided at the Regional Advisory Process to update the landings of the 2004 season as soon as all the data would be available. These data were finally released in May 2005. The present document describes the main results of this update.
