Summary
This document contains the proceeding from the workshop held on the indicators of stock status of soft-shell clam. This workshop was held on October 26, 2004 at the Maurice Lamontagne Institute in Mont-Joli and gathered 37 participants from sciences, management, industry, first nations and environmental stakeholder. During this meeting, the assembly discussed the main indicators that can be used to assess the status of Soft-shell clam stocks in Quebec. Therefore, this proceeding contains the essential parts of the presentations and discussions held and relate the main recommendations and conclusions that were presented during the meeting.
