Step Two: Contact DFO

Send your documentation listed in the above table to the DFO Office closest to the location of your project. Save a copy of the documents for your personal files. Note that in some provinces / territories, the provincial / territorial government has established procedures under their own laws to review proposed projects. Where applicable, you should submit your request to the responsible provincial / territorial agency.
