Apply to the Fisheries and Aquaculture Clean Technology Adoption Program: 4. How to apply

The anticipatory call for request for proposals for FACTAP projects is now closed.

4. How to apply

This program has a 2 step approach to apply for funding.

Step 1: Consult with your regional FACTAP coordinator

To ensure you meet the FACTAP’s eligibility criteria and/or answer any other questions you may have about the program, you should consult with 1 of 3 regional coordinators who are available across Canada.

FACTAP’s regional coordinators can answer questions about issues related to:

  • eligibility
  • how to complete a proposal for the program
  • the amount of funding available
  • supporting documents that are required
  • other questions about the program

Step 2: Complete an application for the program

Following consultations with a FACTAP regional coordinator, you will need to complete and submit an application.

Each application form must be completed in full to be considered for financial support. It is the responsibility of all applicants to ensure that their application to the program is complete.

Should your application be incomplete you may be contacted by your regional FACTAP coordinator to make adjustments.

How long it will take to process your application

For complete project applications, a decision on funding will be provided within 90 business days of the receipt of the application and all required documentation supporting your proposal.

Please note that the submission of an application to the program does not guarantee that all, or part, of the project will be financially supported. This determination will be made based on a review of the project’s:

  • eligibility
  • support for the program goals and objectives
  • available funding within the program
