Temporary (In season) Quota TransfersFootnote 1
Midshore and offshore groundfish and offshore Northern Shrimp
DFO minimizes the need for reconciliation by ensuring quota transfer mechanisms are in place to allow individuals or fleets to account for overruns during or at the end of a fishing season. For all email/Fax Transfer Requests, DFO will review and approve temporary quota transfer requests within one business day of receipt.
The target for achieving the corresponding standard is set at 90 per cent.
